Make Them Click

Despite recent trends, advertising your online business with banners is
very powerful and very effective. When setting out to start a banner
campaign, there are two main factors that will determine its success or
failure. The first is the banner itself and the second is where you put
that banner. In this article I am going to talk about ways to improve
your banner design to get the most out of your campaign.
In order to have a truly successful campaign, your banner needs to be
relevant to your site and your product. Advertising your site with
banners that trick people into clicking on them may give you a higher
click through rate but what is the quality of those clicks. You have to
not only setup your banners for a high click through rate but try to
give a good sales impression. Don't wait until they get to your site to
start selling.
Another, often overlooked use of banners, is their use in helping to
brand your business. Anyone who is running a successful business knows
the importance of branding. To brand your banner simply place your url
or a scaled down version of your logo on every banner you make. You
have to start seeing every single impression as a valuable
advertisement, not just the click throughs.
Make your banners stand out by animating them. Using animation on your
banners will greatly increase your click through rate. The goal of your
banner is to draw attention away from the web site it is being
advertised on. You have to make the visitors of that site view your
banner as being more important to them than what they originally went to
that site for.
Even with a banner, copy writing is very important. Use words that
excite and instruct the viewer. It is a well know fact that telling
people what to do by putting "click here" on your banner will greatly
increase your click through rate. Using words that excite people like
"Free" will definitely help to grab the attention and peak there
interest.
Your banner needs to load fast so try to keep it under 10 kilobytes.
Most people on the Internet are impatient and you do not want to make
them wait for your advertisement. Many people will not wait, so don't
give them a chance to click someplace else before your banner is
finished loading.
With all that said, the design and layout of your banner is very
important. Don't waste time with on of those free banner generators
because for most people, they just don't work. If graphics isn't your
thing, hire a professional to design it for you. One of the best

I know that is a lot of stuff to keep in mind but then again who ever

A quick survey of the rocketing internet culture would lead one into a
world of timeless correspondence, sales, market testing, and a wide
array of global fluctuation of economic convenience.
Think of the daily implications of the computer age and the internet.
1994 the stock market is at 4000. 5 years later we hit 11,000.
Coincidence? I think not. Isn't this the time of the greatest home
computer explosion? We are the forefront of a continuing change
that will reflect on the conditions of society.
In the non electronic marketplace there are the usual divisions of
internet users. Again there are three when your divide those that
believe, those undecided, and those who never can conceive
such ideas on their own. Those continuing to triumph are those
who see the oak tree while staring at an acorn.
With the number of online users doubling every 90-100 days, the
imagination can only assume that in the expanse of only a few short
years, we are on the leading edge of entrepreneurs charging amidst
the fertile fields on which the future is poised to take possession. The
convenience of online shopping will dominate the next internet leap.
Products direct from manufacturer to the consumer. What will your
share of this profit margin be?
We hold the beliefs, that through the long hours, brain fades, and the
unfounded confusion that yes the internet is global, worldwide, and as
such, the computer is just as much of a daily expense as your
telephone bill, electric or gas, that while you catnap through your
child's lunch, someone on the other side of the world just bought
something from your site!
Cha-Ching! This is what fuels us! Will you be a leader at the
forefront of this movement?
One experiments with the freedom from long office hours, traffic
jams and the non support from superiors, while the second cup
of coffee at 3 am is much sweeter than the mid-morning
round-up at the company water cooler.

Maybe it's simply the excitement from something so limitless and
huge that we continue the transmission into the early hours. Or
maybe it's something deeper that defies explanation.

community a worldwide market in which the only boundaries are
those conceived to limit the human imagination.

By the year 2003 the estimates have 3.2 trillion in online spending.
How much of this is earmarked for you? We all seek more time,
more money, residual incomes.
The internet will be in every home in 10 years or less. How many
are going to buy or shop with you? Have you developed a plan to
accommodate this marketing change?
Or will you remember when you should have taken the initiative and
investigated.
Remember if you don't do anything, it doesn't mean anything!
The difference between success and failure is the ability to recognize
an opportunity when it is presented!
