I am still giving you quality articles each week which
creates a longer letter, but most of those who don't have
room in their inbox are gone by now anyway.
I have decided that I am going to give you a quick and
dirty information feed on the "Surf/Get Paid" folks.
I am doing this because the competition is heating up,
the good and the bad and the ugly are being set free,
and I intend to help you sort the wheat (like AllAdvantatge)
from the weak prgrams. This continues to grow and I
intend to keep up with that growth for all of us.

Information is King of the World Wide Web. And for good reason -
We Need It! I am referring to Internet Marketing Information of course.
There is not a single day that passes that I haven't learned at least
one new marketing tip, Internet trick or piece of priceless advice that
will keep me in high overdrive on the Information Superhighway.
More often than not, these will come from a book or informational software
I've purchased.
I consider myself a fairly astute Internet marketer, but I am smart enough
to know that I don't have all the answers. I can learn, as well as teach.
Amazing how often some small pearl of wisdom comes shining through a thirty
dollar tutorial that will either make me a lot of money, save me a lot of
money or conserve that most precious of commodities - time.
I've learned from some of the best - Marlon Sanders, Mark Joyner, Jim Daniels.
And I know in speaking with these top cyber-marketing minds, they've learned
from me as well.
But I've been taught a lot by newbies too! Newcomers who don't have the built-in
prejudices and blocks that some of us long-timers are predisposed to having (like
the Net's ancient or something:-)
What gets my BVD's in a bunch though, is the immeasurable gigabytes of "reports"
that run rampant all over cyber-space masquerading as legitimate
how-to-market-on-the-Internet information. And the not-so-yet-netsmart newbies
who get sucked into spending their not-so-plentiful marketing bucks on products
of little-to-no value.
The only information on Internet marketing that any of us want and need is new
and current. The Internet changes faster than anything we've witnessed before.
We need information written by those who are REALLY making money on the Internet.
Those who CAN teach us but who are also sincere in their desire to share EVERYTHING
that is working (or isn't) for them.
Here's my story in a nutshell. I've made a lot of money by "using" ezines as my
main
promotional vehicle. I "trade" hundreds and hundreds of these Internet

valuable information that I provide for the exposure they give me in return. I benefit
their readers and they in turn become my future customers and newsletter subscribers.

First it was a Free PC from www.freepc.com (they are still
handing them out, by the way), now it is BIG 19 inch
monitors that are being given away free. Much like FreePC,
they are going to put advertising on the monitor. This will
shrink the available screen space down to about 16 inches.

Surfing for pay this week:
AllAdvantage members are beginning to notice an increase in
downline activity. Friends are beginning to tell friends and
the growing examples of checks and growing satisfaction of the
membership is driving membership higher. CNBC did a story on
AllAdvantage and the industry recently too. The more "offline"
exposure the better. Are you in yet? Why not? Waiting for
another 2 million members to join so only 73,000,000 potential
members exist? Then you can say it is "too saturated" right?

Long lost and almost forgotten SharkHunt from the UK sent out
an email to members this week, announcing an "alpha" version
of the software is being tested and beta release is near. We'll
see.
Meanwhile, GoToWorld members appear to be abandoning their
browser/viewbar for more viable programs, at least based on my
downline members. The average surf time is about 1 minute.
Offstage, the fat lady is warming up to sing her final tune on
this program.
ePIPO and Utopiad beta testers are generally pleased with their
ad-serving software. Utopiad requires a bit of attention to keep
active. Meanwhile, DeskTop Dollars continues to work on their site
and software which needs it. Spedia still gets bad marks from
some users and some who are now forced out of the organization for
reasons still unknown.
In a side note, HitMaster has had to move its program to a different
site due to SPAM. It is on its last legs because it is a bad
program and a waste of time. It does not take long to realize you
are not going to pull in the "$42,000/year" promised, although there
are rumors that the program is being reworked. We'll see.

Have you ever heard the adage, "the customer is always
right?" Yes? Well, it doesn't apply to home business
owners and entrepreneurs. No, I haven't lost my marbles.
It's true. This CAN NOT apply for home-based businesses,
and you'd better believe I'm going to tell you why.
A small business owner simply can not afford to treat all
of his or her prospective customers with the same level
of service. "Why," you ask? It's simple. Home business
owners need to be selective, to a degree, in order to keep
business running smoothly, and to satisfy the prospects
that DESERVE satisfaction.
You have to become the type of business owner that
would rather kick a few of the "bums" to the curb and
give other customers excellent service, than to try to
please everybody all of the time ... which just isn't going
to happen. By adopting a rule of "the customer is always
right," home business owners are setting themselves up
for financial suicide ... and here's why:
A home business is usually very small, and is ordinarily
run by only ONE very dedicated person. And, no matter
how much they'd like to think so, this one person can't
be everything to ALL people. For this simple reason,
entrepreneurs run a very high risk of spreading themselves
too thin and, when this happens, business is sure to suffer.
"So, how do we avoid this," you ask? It's simple, really.
1. Target your advertising to attract the RIGHT kind of
customers. The "good" kind. Avoid using hype and never,
ever, under ANY circumstances should you advertise your
business or service to be better than it actually is. If you
advertise to people that are looking for hyped-up offers
and unrealistic excitement, you're ASKING for trouble.
2. Work only with customers that are willing to work
with YOU. Sure, the customer is usually right in most
cases, but no one is right ALL of the time. And, reasonable
people are the ones that realize this. They're also the ones
you want to work with. Have you ever had a customer that,
no matter what you said, or what you proposed, they were
STILL dissatisfied? Even if you agreed to do EXACTLY what
they requested of you, AND MORE?? This is the kind of
disgruntled, trouble-maker that's just looking for trouble,
and you happened to be the gullible target.
3. Don't stand to be treated rudely or disrespectfully. If
you're a successful and professional business owner, that
means that you're always willing to make amends to please
your customer, and to correct any situation in which you
were at fault. And, since you're the type of business owner
that respects their customers, you should also receive the
very same respect. If you don't, kick that customer to the
curb! They'll literally be more trouble than they're worth
later on down the line.
4. Focus 99.5% of your energy and attention on your
"good" customers, and you'll always be successful. Don't
fall for the old "well, they just want to be heard" garbage.
If someone wants attention, they should act like adults
and speak up! Being obnoxious to get attention is for
three year olds.
If you remember and follow those four simple guidelines
in your day-to-day business routine, you're sure to be one
step ahead of the game. A difficult, troublesome customer
can take TWENTY TIMES as much work and effort to
attend to than a customer that's willing to be reasonable.
And, if you're like me, you get a hundred or more emails
a day. What's twenty times one hundred?? Let's just say
a LOT more time than I have to spend babying rude and
unprofessional customers. What about you?
