Hope those of you who observe Thanksgiving enjoyed yourself. We
had a full house which was nice, and now are back to empty, which
may be better *smile* Still it is nice to visit family and friends

Have you heard of the little mini-browsers called wotches? They are
animated and sit on your desktop. Some unique characteristics are
available for free, some require a visit to "suggested" sites online.
The latest release is called "Happy Holidays!" and to open it up, you
must download the .exe file, which can be nerve racking these days.
I have played with mine enough to open all the "secrets" and although
the file is called Happy Holidays!.exe, it was perfectly safe, unlike
the Happy.exe virus that still pops up once in a while in my email
inbox. It was kind of fun, and you can get a clean virus-free copy of

Do You Have A Vision For Your Online Business?

A characteristic of many successful businesses (both online
and off-line) is that they have a vision for their business.
They know what they are working towards, and they are
creating a business that will be like their vision of the
future. It is always a good idea to stop every so often and
reconsider what your vision is for your business.
So how do you create a vision for your online business? The
first step is to ask yourself what you really want to create
with your business. Imagine the ideal business that you want
to own. Do not be distracted by what is or is not possible
and do not evaluate whether it will work. Just consider the
possibilities and how aiming for what you want will be
unique to you. No one else will be able to copy it because
it will be yours.
Some people will be inspired by a desire to create something
new and different. Others will want to create a second
income. Some will want to create a new shopping experience
for their customers while others will want to create new
products or services that better meet the needs of people
today. Others may just want to get rich.
Once you have imagined your ideal and have a vision of what
you want, spend some time considering how you will make a
difference. Will you be setting a standard of customer
service that will be the envy of other businesses? Will your
product or service meet a need so fully that your customers
will tell their friends and generate business for you? Will
you be an inspiration to all those who come in contact with
you so that they will want to stay in contact and follow
your recommendations? The list of how you can make a
difference is endless.
Write a short statement setting out your vision for your
business and how you will make a difference. If your vision
is based on assumptions, spend some time testing those
assumptions to make sure they are valid. Keep the vision
before you so that it guides your decisions and plans for
your online business.
Make sure you breathe life into your written vision
statement. Use powerful language that is strong on stories,
or metaphors or examples. Ensure that you speak from the
heart and work to make the intangible tangible. Use symbols,
themes, slogans, etc., to make it come to life and be real
for you, your employees and your customers.
As you move towards your vision, ensure that you listen
first and often. Your customers and your employees will be
able to provide you with ways to achieve your vision through
their feedback. Listening in a non-defensive and uncritical
way can be very enlightening which will enable you to be
better able to define the needs of your customers and to
satisfy those needs.
Over time, you will need to adjust some of your actions and
tactics as they will not be taking you closer to your
vision. Through listening to the feedback you have received,
and monitoring the results you have achieved, you will know
which actions or tactics need modification or change. By way
of a simple example, the results of an ad may improve with
one headline but not with another. Change to the one that is
providing better results.
Some businesses have experienced tremendous success through
having large audacious goals. Remember that large goals can
take a long time to achieve. However, if your vision is
driving you strongly, you will thrive on taking the actions
required to achieve your vision over a long period of time.
Also, some visions are so powerful that they rewrite the
industry rules and create a new competitive space.
Make the time to develop your vision for your future online
business success. Know what you want to achieve and ensure
that all your actions are taking you in that direction.
Listen to the feedback you receive and monitor the results
you are achieving so that you can change tack if necessary
as you move closer to your vision. Dare to be different and
to make a difference with your online business.

Surfing for pay this week:
New to me this week:
Perhaps most interesting this week is BePaid, which has a home page that
says you can earn $20-$100 PER HOUR. That is NOT a misprint. Twisting
the ad-serving software game on its ear again, BePaid will install
software that will automatically pop up ads on YOUR computer. Accept
the advertisement and away to go to the advertisers site for an impressive
media presentation. Pop up ads are worth between 20 cents to one dollar,
and they claim you could go through 100 pop up ads in 60 minutes? http://stealthpromotions.com/af/bp.htm
Is that a pipe dream? A scam? Dunno. It is brand new on the net.
What if it is only half true? A quarter true? Still makes it the one
program that is potentially this profitable. As I checked the site
this morning, it is up and down. There are some geographical limits
for the program, but it does include United States; UK, France, Germany,
Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland.
GetPaid4 promises to pay you up to 70% of their revenue for YOUR
time + more for referral time up to 7 levels deep. One thing that
makes this an outstanding member of the herd is the fact that it is
backed by TechnoSurf. TeknoSurf.com is one of the oldest and largest
Internet marketing firms and they recently created a product that
everyone can benefit from. The GetPaid4 Bar is a small bar displaying
ads at the bottom or top of your computer screen. Since advertisers
want you to view these ads, they pay TeknoSurf to reach you via The
GetPaid4 Bar and then TeknoSurf will share its advertising revenues
with you. The software is available right now. Please use stpromo as
the referrer when you complete the form. I would really appreciate
that. That is stpromo as the referrer ID near the bottom of the form.
The beta software is supposed to be available later today. Last month's
early adopters were paid about 95 cents/hour, and with a 100 hour minimum
this too seems like a great candidate to add to your flock of surf/get paid
companies. I know I did.
How many surfers with AllAdvantage? Do you wonder how many of your
referrals are actually surfing? Some might download but never surf.
Some might surf well beyond the current 25 hour limit. What's a person
to do? The one minute test. How? Starting in December, open your
viewbar for 1 minute. Start timing when the light goes green. Close
the viewbar at 55 seconds or so. Wait one day for the update to your
stats. From here on, in the month you are watching, you can log into
your stats and you can get a good estimate of the downline surfers.
You will be paid for every minute each individual surfer surfs, so if
you are showing 0-1 minute (depending on how close to one minute you
came) and, for example, 1 hour and 12 minutes of payable time for one
level of referrals, you have 72 people surfing for that level (1 hour
equals 60 minutes and 12 minutes more equals 72.) This is more fun
the more referrals you have, and it is NOT exact, but it does indicate
how actively your downline is online. Then all you have to hope for is
that they stay active for the full 25 hours of allowable time. Try it
for yourself. Give yourself a week to see how many others are surfing,
then surf your heart out up to the limit, especially if you are in my
downline group *smile*.
The little Piggy from ValuePay is due out for early members today, but it
is not ready. Where have I heard that before? Now the dates are called
"tentative". Oh well. In the meanwhile, they are encouraging daily
participation in the lottery which will pay $2000 and they are now rolling
over unwon amounts until for each day to the end of the week, then sharing
the winnings with everyone who picks 6 of 7. Pick your 7 of 21 daily. Do
it 15 times before Christmas, and you will be included in a semi-mass
release sooner than later.
FreeBanners and AllCommunity announced the formalization of their
partnership. It has been obvious at either site before now if you have
seen the mutually traded, exclusive links. The same announcement claims
average checks for AllCommunity were $183.70. Mine was MUCH smaller, but
this program is doing well, and that is before they offer the surf/get paid
and dial-up service. This program remains in the "good" pile for us.
Thanks those of you who jumped on the BigReferral bandwagon last week.
I think we will be in for a pleasant ride for some time. They still
have some of their $10 million waiting to pay you for your referrals
if you are still waiting too.
DeskTop Dollars, also known as DD (for dormant dud) has promised
to have the accounting/referral stats up by later this week with
lots of improvements. We'll see.
In the "talk to the hand" category. BXnet made changes to its program
that affiliates must do to stay current,then failed to provide a link
to the site. The free web hosting company they use for the site speaks
volumes about the value of their program. Goodbye. Dumped today.
GoToWorld came out with another VERY disappointing CPM. Gulping their
last breath of water instead of air. Hope they enjoyed their 15
minutes of fame. That was 14 minutes too much. New in the SCUMBAG
category this week: NewSurf. Not gonna give you the URL 'cause this
one is a SCAM all the way. They are ID and password robbers, who could
use that information to take your hard work from you by going into
legitimate company's web sites to steal or re-route your money. Remember
the name, NewSurf. They get the award for sleazy this week.
